NAID : News : Old Hospital Records Found Out in Open in Abandoned Building

November 9, 2009- Empty boxes containing documents with sensitive medical data were recently found in abandoned hospital in Alice, Texas. In addition to the records, KII TV3 also found evidence that the homeless may be using the hospital as a shelter, increasing the risk of identity theft. After finding out about the issue city officials dispatched police to secure the location, though as of press time the fate of the abandoned records are still unknown.
