PHARMACY RECORDS RECOVERED FROM DOWNTOWN TRASH BIN

October 29, 2009- Sensitive records from the Round Corner Pharmacy in Lawrence, Kansas, were discovered in a dumpster last week, exposing drug and dosage information of hundreds of former patients. The records found in the trash bin dated as far back as 1894. Though the pharmacy had gone out of business in July, the former manager responded by going to the site and collecting the records, hopefully preventing any harm to those who had their information exposed.
